12 volt, trailer break away battery is what I'm going to put in for constant powerFor now I have a Lead dog, until I get something brighter. I'm going to wire it to a 12v dewalt battery that I can keep in my pack while night riding.

Yeah this is going in my Avy Pack, just for the light. I don't want to have a cord to the sled.
This will be out of the way, and the dewalt batteries are light/durable and will power the light all night probably.
Im sure you could even start a sled with a dewalt lithium Ion battery no problem if you wanted.
You can definitely start a truck with a 18v Dewalt battery. Done it many times. Had a work truck with a bad battery and would always be dead at the end of the day in the middle of know where.
