been driving oilfield winch trucks for the last 22 years up here in Grimshaw. I have spent the last 15 years driving for my fathers' company, moving everything from drilling rigs to seedling spruce and pine. we have 40 wheel and 9 axle combination lowbed trailers for hauling heavy equipment, as well as tridem scissorneck beds and a couple refrigerated vans for the seedlings. pa's company, Lorette Truck Service, has been in buisiness for 41 years.

I didn't have time to read all 12 pages of this thread but very interesting to find out what everybody does for a pastime when they're not sledding:):):)
Lots of oilfield related careers, I didn't see any farmers!! Well I'm a food production engineer-- organic farmer-- Been farming for over 30 years , organic for 4 , sold the cows last spring so will have more time for SLEDDING this winter:D:D:D:D I love these little green smiley faces.
This site is addactive, I'm spending way too much time here but I always get a laugh at some of the posts. Time to get to work.

Engineer by trade and now I have a business supplying castings and forgings to the mining / oil and gas industries. Never enough time to go sledding, too much working.

Looking forward to McBride weekend before Xmas.
