I have been carrying that exact axe for several years. Don't use it a lot, but has come in handy when you need it.
Two things: Get the next size up. the head is the same, but the handle is a few inches longer, and much easier to use. Some have a knife in the handle too.
Second, cover the handle with grip tape. It gets really slippery in snowy gloves and may go for a flight. A lanyard may be an alternative.
Had a couple of the fiskars axes that were on clearance at Canadian tires. They come in extremely handy. We used it to keep a fire going in a riding spot cause it was to cold. The snow was low so we couldn’t ride hard enough to stay warm and no cabin. That axe was night and day compared to all of our saws
