sling
100' cable
first Aid kit
space blanket
air compressor
tire repair kit with plugs, stem, CO2 cartridges
camera
binoculars
Insurance and registration
All but the sling and cable are in a pelican case with pick out insulation to keep dry and so they don't get rattled to peices on the trail
boat bilge pump with 20' cord and a 15' hose for rad cleaning
I always take a days worth of food and water at a minimum, doesn't take much to turn a three hour ride into Gilligans Island.

What would you use 200' of 1/4" cable for?

This is what I carry Rick

Tree Saver - (4 ft Sling)
Snatch Block - (cheap pulley with hook from Princess Auto)
200 ft 1/4 cable
12V Air Comp
Valve stems & Puller
Tire Plugs & Puller
Patch Kit
Ratchet Strap
First aid kit
Fold up saw
Flagging tape
Little Tool Kit
Duct Tape
TP

It's all small, light stuff & goes into the back box nicely.

Try and co-ordinate with your riding buddys before heading out. For instance if the people that responded to this thread were to all come out for a day trip together there would be 614 feet of cable and slings  I like to pack as light as possible. Its much easier on the machine and my body.

Oh ya...pack lots of Zip Ties, the really really big ones. handy handy handy :d

orange garbage bag (use as rain coat, in an emergency it helps to flag someone down)
bear bangers
electrical wire and tape
flaging tape
couple of zip ties
tow rope (wire cable dosent streach when towing a broken quad out of bush)
i keep a flint nap in my quad since its about the only thing that will still light when wet
hatchet
compass
comealong

ive thought i should keep some water treatment tablets and some MRE(meals ready to eat) cause if you ever have to spend the night or have to walk out your food probably wont last

i would recomend a 12 volt air compressor over the CO2 canisters, you will find out if you ever have a tire come off of the bead
