I think you've already made up your mind as to what sled you want to buy. You aren't posting looking for advice, your slamming every one who has given you their advice. Maybe its time you grow up and drop your eastern attitude and listen to the good people that have taken the time to respond to this thread. They took the time to give you their opinions, show them the respect they deserve.

all i asked was what would be a better sled for me a NYTRO or a PHAZER , and ur saying that i'm slammin all ur favorite brands and read back and listen to what most of u guys are sayin about yamaha!:nono:

How about this take it how ever anyone wants,.......

A sled is like anything you buy, you look at what it has and what it doesnt. Is it going to suite your needs. Ask lots of questions. You live on Ont, and dont thing a long track sled is going to be choice #1. Sure Ont can get some snow but it gets more ice. So are you going to stud the track? 153" worth of studs is going to add some serious pounds to it. Today i would buy what you want, cause just a few years down the road no doubt your needs will change. Most sleds will hold a good value and the value lost is what you can pin down as rental use. When your wants change you sell and buy what you want.

this thread is like beating a dead horse.....All i have to say is you asked for advice, take it or leave it they all offered it.You want a Yammi and that's all there too it,so go buy one.
All the boys are saying is open your mind to other options that's all. It's not sled bashing Yammi just the guys feel you would enjoy another brand.Doing the rental is a idea.
Joey, honestly who ever you talk to about a Yammi and 4 stroke 1st thing everyone says "man are those things heavy"

Just throwing it out there...

I work at an Arctic Cat and Yamaha dealership, I [sort of] have a choice of what sled I want to demo... Hands down, I will pick the Arctic Cat M/ Crossfire chassis - every time. Not because the Yam isn't a fun ride, or because I don't like Yamahas as they are an excellent product. I grew up on Yamaha sleds - had a Sno Scoot during my wonder years. I am 5'3" [on a good day] and 120 pounds, so for me - a Phazer isn't a good fit, I am not able to throw it around like say a teenage boy could. I prefer the ride, feel and performance of the Arctic Cat - oh yeah, and for me sledding = 2-stroke.

Sometimes, opening your mind and trying something new will lead to a growth experience and benefit you. Growing up I thought I would ride Yammy's forever, till Terry picked up the Arctic Cat line, then I warmed up to the idea - now I would never go back.

Food for thought....?

moral of the story.... EDUCATION COSTS MONEY!!! not a big deal let him learn for himself... i have, on numberous ocasions. And after you work hard enough for your money you learn to respect it, and use it as wisely as possible, which means taking everyones advice and forming your own opinion. :)

no, 140hp with a turbo.

T&T had a Phaser with a Turbo, roughly 140 HP.
But I thought that you said that you don't have money for a turbo.
The Phaser would be a good sled for you to start out on if you have no mountain experience. Light enough that you could throw it around. Once you get some mountain experience you could upgrade to the Nitro.

Words of Advice and you best heed these words " Find someone that has mountain experience and have him/her guide you. The mountains are not a place to learn buy the school of hard knocks."
