Pulled all the machines out of storage just so the kids could ride. Started my 13 year daughter on the Blaster an let my 15 year son bag the crap outta my ATC 350x.

Today i tore around, changed the engine oil, removed 1800 rpm engagement shim, washed prefilter sock, tore around some more, xhanged front diff oil, changed rear end oil, mounted my bicycle horn so im legal in the black hills, greased, and inspected cv boots. Just a couple things left to do before trip...........reinstall stock wheels, check wheel bearings, change transmission fluid, and pack the bag.

Yesterday I Installed the cvt exhaust snorkel from an outlander XMR onto my 09 renegade, Much higher.

A week ago I installed this rear hitch from an outlander, I also put a 2 inch D-clevis hook on and painted it. It's much nicer for tying down on the trailer or getting pulled out of a mud hole from behind as it somewhat lifts the quad out of the hole.


Also put these pro taper hi-rise bars on with these renthal grips, the quad is soo much nicer to ride with these higher bars.

Just put Brand new mudbugs on the back and new EBC brakes all around, the oem Canam ones are crap went through three sets this year, thought I was losing my mind. typical.

Big guns exhaust,k&n filter, and a fuel programmer on the rhino. Much better.

Took a look, spent over 2k on parts and should be back in the mud on tuesday.
I guess pinnen her on the highway cause I can don't pay off. At least I know how fast she goes on dry pavement......

replacing front wheel bearings don't do what the service manual says remove bearing with shop press broke 2 punches trying to do it there way

How the heck did pinnin it down the road kill the motor?

Musta been week, plenty of oil and stuff but it developed a bottom end double knock and shut down on the highway. The real bummer is my new crank did not arrive today so no rebuild this weekend and the department of war and finance will not let me use her quad.

Petroman, whoDEANi nailed er, the belt on the square rod is used like an oil filter tool to hold the primary and secondary in place while I'm reefing on the (sometimes rusted ) nuts.
A quad mechanic buddy left that here for me to use. He's also coaching/helping me on the rebuild but I'm doing pretty much all the work and to be honest Its not all that hard and good to know for when your in the middle of nowhere
