Went for a rip tonight,.. blew a cv boot just driving it,.. clamp still on and boot intact. POS cvt housing STILL leaking after I resealed both rear and front housing,.. this **** is really starting to get to me, good thing I have another year of warranty, that is if the repairs will be covered, have only put 150km since I bought it. I am thinking I should have went with the outlander last year instead,

On the bright side went and test drove a 650 outlander max xt 2up with the wife this afternoon, she said she would rather buy a couple 400 outlanders instead for her and the kids:noidea:

just a heads up for ranger 900xp owners, pull your axles, sooner than later, there is little to no grease on the inner splined end on the rear axles. fills witnh mud n gunk, almost next to impossible to remove after a short period of time. lube em up, anti seize or a good quality grease. otherwise when you break one in the muck you may not get the old axle out.

consider yourself warned.

I think that's a Polaris in General thing. My 500 ranger I had to weld a nut into the inside of the cv knuckle and use a sled hammer. It was rusted in bad!

I have stock ones off my ranger. 26" off a ltd edition so they are the higher end tire not the cheap tire on the plane rangers.

Just put 1.5" lift, 14" STI HD4's, and 30" zillas. Fawk it looks mean, but this setup is gonna suck harsh. I already ran it around my driveway, so I can't even return the tries. Anyone wanna buy a set of 30" Zillas with less than 1km (more like 50m) on them?

I was thinking about 28x12x14 zillas all the way around. This will still allow me to do some decently fast trail riding and play in the mud/skeg as well.

Have a pair of 28-9-14 zillas for the front if you need, 12' may be hard steering?

Bahh, looks like I can't get 12's on the 14" STI rims. Gonna go back to stock rim too which means that I can't go 12" all the way around. Will have to keep them at 10" in front and 12" in back. ...seemed to work pretty well for me in the past.
