So what did everyone do for the May long weekend? We stayed in Calgary, visited our daughter and went to a movie.

I hauled a load of wood yesterday, cut up a 100 year old tree today and pretty much filled the wood box for the shop for next winter, cooked and am drinking with the boys, had some lobster last night, BBQ steak tonight, and a few more drinks, kids went biking, mom and dad worked around the house, etc.

It is a great weekend.

Spending the weekend with our 7 year old grandson who we haven't seen for six months.. It sucks when the parents split up and the grandparents suffer.
Going to need a long rest after he leaves though.

At work. I get shafted on the work schedule and long weekends. All year the only one I get off is July long.

Sent a long time ago from a Galaxy Tab far far away.

Enjoying the morning of day 3 of no work, no work emails, or work calls.
2 huge pallet fires in the yard, rotated the Kokanee stock so nothing would go stale, a few tea's.
Washed the house, cleaned and organized the holiday and sled trailer as well as the shed.
All in all, a very relaxing weekend at home   :D

Isn't is awesome? It would be better if I got extra for working the stats, but everyone gets paid OT for it, whether they are working it or not, because it is rotation work. We do get triple time for working Christmas and New Year's though.

Went out with the brother in law for a day ride in my rhino, and broke 2 cv joints 500 yards into the trail. Was able to limp out, still had fun though:rolleyes:
