what defines a platform?

Platforms were in, back in the 70s, are they back?
I'm guessing it would help them short people with crotch clearance over the seat while riding, that's awesome, what else will they come up with next?

and other places in the world ,pushing there sales in every direction
there US military contracts surpass brp s sales by a long shot
