What causes sleds to trench?

Why do you say long travel makes a sled trench more?
Is it because the floorboards are lower and it will only trench 6 inches, as opposed to 12?


This much ill say long travel is bad.

I can assure you and you know as well as I do Kens sleds dont trench.


Whilst sitting in the trees with 2 buddies digging out 3 sleds we watched a Wedge go up the trail with 5 other sleds. All were newer Pro's. 10 minutes later the Wedge came down by itself. I think he turned the low rider around after seeing the 4ft deep carnage above. Lol.
