Would be nice to hear from an authority on this one.

Question. If I shot the pizz out of a robber/home invader with a full auto paintball gun would that be punishable with criminal charges? Just one of many clever ideas I have in the event of such an occurrance.

I would remove my clothes then grab my machete and chase them, yelling some incoherent words regarding the painful death they will experience. Hopefully it would scare them good and it isn't overly illegal.

I have thought about this topic many times as well. First thought is to protect my family i would stop at nothing, lots of guns and ammo sitting in the house. That being said i would be no good to my family sitting in jail and with our bleeding heart justice system it seems that the criminals have more rights than the victims. Guy should have 12 gauge riot loads or rock salt, non-lethal and would hurt like hell.

Yeah so my garage got broken into last winter, turned out to be a couple of local teenage kids, the local RCMP when they showed after it was called in said there hands are tied also.

The kids ended up getting community service because all items were returned. The cop threw his hands up and was more pissed than I was. He said its out of control and consequences are a joke for the criminals. He said it is getting worse all the time, drugs play a big role steal something worth $1000 and sell it for $10.00 anything for some cash for a fix.

He also commented that a property owner set up a few booby traps around the perimeter of his property and slightly injured a guy trying to break into his place, the dirtbag actually sued the property owner. Hows that for justice.

Google what happened to Brian Knight a few years back. He got 90 days (then suspended after appeal), for shooting the guy stealing his quad with bird shot (at long range). The thief got 30 days.
