I'm sure this has been asked 101 times but I'm new to riding and this site so ill ask again! What do people suggest for a can on a 2015 summit X? I've heard pro's and con's of pretty well all brands. Was considering HPS but the dealer told me go MBRP (keeping in mind its what they have in stock). just looking for a nice snappy sound and hopes of no codes or "limp mode" ...any comments appreciated! thanks!

If you want a nice hot meal; lemon garlic shrimp for and appy and strips of BBQ'd beef strip loin in a bed of veggies go for TheThing! Available from the RevySled Shed......Love a hot meal at elevation!

We have run them on all our etecs ('12, 3 - '13's and a '14) without a hick-up. I will be putting one on my T3 from the getgo.......:d

Ran the mbrp race last year. Sled ran awesome. Super might but loud as hell!
I've heard it's like a 50-50 for codes with a race

Some yes, some no..

Mabe some sleds are just a bit more sensor touchy

X2! Got one one my sled runs great no codes but pretty loud! It looks pretty much the same as the mbrp race can just a bit different placement for the probe.

You can order the GGB Trail Can if you don't want the extremely obnoxious noise of the Mountain Can.
Can't say anything on codes for the Summit, but I run the HPS can on my Pro (use to have the GGB Mountain Can and it was TOO LOUD). It has a great finish, incredible sound without having to wear ear plugs, and no issues at all with codes.

I have a mbrp trail can. Less than 100 km on it. Bought it for my ditch sled. I took it off so I can sneak around and smash pow without pissing off people in county. It's a nice sounding can but to loud for local trails IMO. Yours for $200 If your interested.

I would imagine they have a similar sound to the HPS can. Nice throaty growl at idle and low end, with a snappy acceleration with just a bit of a bark. They have a dB rating on the GGB website I believe for the Trail Can, as I believe Ontario has noise regulations for their trails.

Trying an hps on my new xm. obviously it hasn't been on the snow yet, but it looks to be of good quality.

Ran a SLP last year. Decent sound and quit...

This year is a TSS can... I don't think there's any packing in these can, sounds pretty hollow when knocking on it

They will make your ears bleed and sled burble.
