What brand of equipment trailer?

Looked at this one and in good shape but was asking 5g and I was at 4 .

That would be perfect, just asking to much, I think 4 is more then generous, it is 10 years old. I'd rather spend the extra $1500-2000 even to brand new instead of screwing around with repairs.

I have a Load trail 20' deckover with double 7000 lbs axles. Use it to move my seacans, telehandler jibs and baskets. Pulls like it's not even there as for any trailer if it's not loaded right kicks like a mule but just need to be careful with loading and I've never had a problem after loading a few times and figure out what works well for the trailer.

My concern is what is too much? I'm right on the border between 2 7k's and 3 7k's. I've never owned a trailer with 7k's but I've heard they don't stand up when they are loaded right up? I can speak for the 10k's, I've overloaded them up to 22,500 and they handle great. Southland for example is rated at 15400 total, so would be right at or very close to 14k on the axles as I can put 2k pin weight on the truck. It doesn't bother me if the brakes wear out fast, tires aren't a big deal can buy good quality heavy ones but I don't want to destroy a new trailer in a summer either. 3 7k's is worthless to me as it's still not enough to haul both of my machines and just a lot of extra weight and length to be dragging around, a 18' or even 16' would be perfect. And I know the tire scrub is terrible on the 3 7k's, and i'm sure it's still going to cost more to maintain then 2 7k's.​

Ended up going with the Southland because it was about the only one that stickered their 2 7k trailer above 14k so I like having that if I get stopped as I will be over that. So far it's good, pulls nice and so much easier to get around then the 30' gooseneck. The bad so far is the paint is absolute chit, from only tying down machines a few times paint is already coming off. The 4k jack seemed stupid, but actually jacked up trailer fine, probably still going to replace with a 12k I don't think it will stand up long trying to lift up 2k. Found out Flaman only put 70lbs in the tires when I loaded the mini ex and the tires squashed pretty good, wasn't overly impressed, who doesn't air up trailer tires to the max? It would be a out of service if I was stopped. First unload of mini excavator bent the ramps a tiny bit, suppose to be rated for "over 4000lbs mid span" but clearly not going to have to brace them up a bit. Weighed in loaded as in picture, axles are 600lbs over so need to load a bit further up to put more on truck. Puts trailer right at max but handled it fine just didn't like the flex in the tires from not being inflated properly. As long as the trailer holds up to the load long term i'll be happy, the skidsteer is about 3,000lbs lighter so it's only seeing max weight less then half the time. A lot easier on the truck dragging around 5,000lbs less of a trailer.

Well after having the trailer for a year I totally regret going with southland. I don't know if it's specific to them or if a lot of these other light duty trailers have these issues but here's so far what i've got after maybe 10k km on it. The brakes aren't self adjusting, or they don't work, haven't pulled a wheel to check which yet. Found out why the one tire was flat when I picked up the trailer, they just aired it up instead of checking to see that the rim was damaged and leaked air. The ramp arms are garbage, after a few months when driving one ramp slammed down because the one end snapped off, thankfully I was going slow in my yard when it happened and not in the highway or something, never got damaged just way too weak of a design a 1/4" bolt welded onto the frame isn't going to last supporting a ramp. The paint is absolutely awful, when I replaced the jack it wasn't even painted underneath at all, can't believe how much rust the trailer has. My 2012 BWS almost looks as new as it. One marker light got damaged and pushed in, I still can't figure out how to replace it without cutting the trailer apart? The wiring is in the tubing of the frame, great for protection but you can't do anything with it without cutting the frame apart??? At the front and back of fenders there is holes to get access but cheap plastic covers that all fell out within a few months, so now have wiring exposed. The spring hanger bolts are all worn out and needing replacing, can't believe how poor quality they must be to be garbage already. Feel like the trailer will be a throwaway in another year or two or will need to rebuild absolutely everything but the frame.
