I have a brother and his girlfriend that are both govt employees.
Been trying to make sure the do not vote NPD as I have a strong suspiscion they did last time.

Pretty loud debate on how much damage NDP has done and how badly they block development.
As this is how govt gets their money to pay govt employees he should rethink who he backs.
Private sector taxes, personnel taxes, oil/gas royalty and taxes, forestry royalty and taxes and farming put a lot of the money in the system through the govt.
The employees of these entities also spend their hard earned money to percolate through society.
Knothead has been allowed to do damage for the last four years, that's enough!
How many more jobs must be lost and how many more families must continue to suffer because of NDP policies.

Do your part to, if necessary beat this information into NDP supporter heads.
Money does not come from the government like so many of these supporter believe - it comes from what the government has taken from businesses, industry and us which the NDP seem hell bent on damaging.

Do more than just vote!!!!!
Do what you can to curtail NDP voting.

Oust the biotch and NO NDP SEATS!

Yeah, it's hard to get anyone to admit they voted for NDP but maybe that's a good thing that they are too ashamed to admit it.

Unfortunately the poles still show 30%+ support for NDP.
That must be the combination of government employees with guaranteed zero pay reduction and then some stupid people.
Baffles me how people can think the last 4 years was OK??????

The NDP texted me today, this is my response:

I do not support the NDP in any way, shape, or form. They are a blight upon the face if the Earth. I can't wait to see each and every one of them unemployed and in the same position they have put 1,000's of Albertan's. I will rejoice in their demise and dance upon the grave of the defunct NDP.

This is was from Brother. Well said I think.

Believe me when I say this as Govt employee that we don't all want the NDP in power! I want the province to prosper and to get pipe lines in the ground and Black Gold to start to flow! All I really want to know from the UPC is that they are not going to be going after my pension. Our Union is pushing the NDP (not officially because political action on union levels has been banned) and trying to get us out there pounding signs.... But pretty sure that'll be met with pour response.

All the Calgarians and Rural Albertans are gonna carry UCP to a win. Ordered up a giant UCP sign for my yard.

Unfortunatly that actually is a part of the problem.
Nobody but nobody gets the fat pensions of civil servants along with the medical and dental plans and protected wages.
Every other working stiff in this province has been affected, some in the $7-10 wage roll back range.
Yet for some f'n reason government employees seem to think they should be untouchable.
NDP and social state mentality of "this is my right to have" regardless of the suffering of others has got to go.
Every govt employee needs to have a taste of the real world as most have no idea of what I takes to get, earn and hold job by your work performance.

Sorry if that stings but man there are a lot that need to spend some tie on the other side of the fence - unprotected and unshielded actually putting out the same as the non civil servants.
35,000 new civil servant jobs added in 4 years - who pays for this insanity to justify Alberta having more civil servants than ANY other province with our low population.

We all need to say no more!
The biotch, the NDP and their policies must go on April 16.
There is no other soloution.

Im not disagreeing with this statement, but when I got my job with the city and pay into 3 pension plans and was not making the high dollar that many oilfield worker were making during the boom, that was a choice. I knew I was getting into it for the security and long term pension plan. I never got into my job to get rich ( I work a second job to afford the extras like sledding). That being said, there is a need to get people back to work, and I’m all for that!

So why do you think the UCP would go after your pension.

So why do you think the UCP would go after your pension.
When they claimed last year to reform defined benefit pension plans. And when the previous Conservative party assembled a group to try and reform it.

I don’t think so. Lots are tired of this Govt (like me) but also wonder about what the Cons would do to the pension.

So did you look into what the previous Conservative government were planning to do
Or did you just listen to the union
Because I did and it sure was not what the union said " you're all going to loose are pensions"
When I showed my work mates how the pension reform was going to effect them most were ok with it.
They were trying to make it sustainable.
I know where I work half are pulling their money before 55

^^^^^^ Zactly.... Convincing the "indoctrinated" is a daunting task, convincing those that "don't bother voting" (for whatever reason) to vote via exposing NDP/liberal "incompetence" is much easier....
Sway the "on the fence" crowd, and get non voters to vote is the path to victory...
