It was really deep everywhere last weekend. Chatter got 75cm in 48hrs. Big problem though for them and ever other spot. Warm weather and rain. Avy was off the hook last weekend freeze elevation was around 55/6000ft, hell hwy 1 out of golden was closed both directions on Sunday from 7am-10pm. Remote triggers everywhere and we were hearing crap on the other sides of the mountains falling. Hopefully/most likely we will see one more big dump with a couple little ones here and there.
and as usual it should be crappy ass drive as usual, especially with the early rains and crazy snow melt going on

wanted to get a ride in there this past weekend with all the new snow... but decided to head into the Mines on Mon and Tues...
was 2 days of EPIC snow...

The guys I am going with just stay in golden when they go , they did say it is a bit of a drive every morning to get out there
2-1/2 hours minimum from town on a potholey muddy forest road.. it is a tough day trip if you do it twice.
