just verified with my dealer (and brp site) that the X models come with a temp gauge.. no need for the module !

At sled show asked 5 different parts people/ salesman/ general ski-doo techs and all said just the Temp light available with the 13X.. You got to buy the module to get the gauge.... Who has the real story on this question??? Do I order, do i not..... I've cancelled and reordered this module 3 times now because of false answers or people just dont have the right answer.....

Have you asked your dealer? I would sure hope that he woould have the answer for you.
Now I'm curious I was under the impression my X was coming with this module this year.
I am getting tired of buying this every year and installing it in the spot made for it with the plug that is sitting right there. (if you catch my drift)
LOl oh well if they dont have it i will just buy another one i guess.

Every person i have asked were from My dealership.... Wish I could get a straight answer..... Seems silly to not have the module in place with the sled already...... The light basically means your too late and your on your way to limp mode... Makes sense to have a gauge like that STANDARD......

Makes even more sense that the so called "multifunction" gauge has the multifunction gauges built in, not sitting there idle until you want to spend a couple bills more....

I figure it should be standard... X model or whatever model a guy gets.... Multifunction gauge should not be called multifunction gauge if its not a multifunction gauge, agree??

Other than that cant wait for it to show up..... If it shows up...

Yes but that don't mean it will work.

My 10 x and my buddys 12 x said the same thing.
But u still have to shell out the 100 plus bones to get the plug in module to work.

I'll be pissed if I have to buy that module. It's BS that it's not standard equip as it is.
Picked up a set of those fancy supposedly reversible scratchers as well. And I guarantee I will be testing them on the trail lol. Hope they have warranty.....

Fired up an XM today. It has a temp feature in the multifunction gauge. Seen it myself guys. No need to buy that module unless you want the race pak feature.

What's the race PAK feature?

On the premium module it has a race or lap feature that allows the rider to set the guage to record up to 10 runs for comparison purposes when tuning the sled on the hill. It then replays your runs on demand to see what if any improvements you've made on those runs.
