Well, if most communities get there water from the north Saskatchewan, they are downstream of Edmonton. Shouldn’t the water be tested there and not at the headwaters.

We have the ostrich problem (head in sand). I agree with Fernie we have to dump the NDP Government in both Alberta & B.C. But I still worry with a conservative/liberal government and the reason I say this is because the proposed Bighorn closer problems was brought to the attention of our local UCP MLA he didn't have a clue about it in fact he wasn't up to speed on the Castle closures; Give me a break!!! Unfortunately a typical politician no matter what stripe they are!!!!

I forwarded this thread on to the huntingbc.ca forum. I am actually scared by the reaction it has received there. Obviously some are not as afraid as others

Tyler, in all due respect, all the rallies, surveys, letters, etc.. aren't going to work. We can believe they will but the they have a mission and the political power to do it. It will be done and we will be sitting in the weeds.

How can the majority of people balk at protection of "their watershed"? The large centres have so many sheeple that it is totally discouraging.

IMHO, the only thing that will work is to dump the NDP and have a government with enough guts/balls to recind all the garbage. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't see the orange machine slowing down anytime soon.

I didn't say anything about the letters I'm encouraging getting involved with the clubs, get those user numbers up..... I've written the letters, I've gotten the form "thank you for your concern, now go shove an apple in your @$$ responses"....... If we all get involved, get the user group numbers up, we will have a stronger pull than just 3 or 4 of us out there trying to fix things for the hundreds.

Write them a letter telling them your not paying them anymore tax money.. de-fund these frauds, governments are the problem not the solution, local decision making, those living there should manage these areas

We had 450 supporters show up at the Dovercourt Hall 3 weeks ago. I am hoping the meeting in Rocky Mountain House will be a full house too. The meeting is March 22 from 7PM to 9PM at the Lou Soppit Community Center. Most everyone I know from Nordegg will be there.Numbers do make a difference.

Just a reminder to anyone in Alberta who enjoys the west country. There is a meeting in Rocky Mountain House Thursday at 7PM in the Lou Soppit Community Center. They will be discussing the Y2Y bull**** and how our NDP government talking to them more than us. A full house would be great.

Jason Nixon added a new video: MLA Nixon - QP (March 19 2018).March 19 at 6:20pm ·

I keep asking the Minister of Environment & Parks if she will meet with our community to discuss what she is planning behind closed doors for our backyard. She is still refusing to meet with the people who will be most impacted by her decisions.

She said she just met and consulted with the mayor of Rocky Mountain House, but Jason Nixon(mla) knows the mayor, and personally says she did not meet or consult with the mayor
