I have had many Bud Lites and the odd cheeseburger there! I actually rode my bike down a few years ago and had a Cheeseburger on July 5th. Seriously we rode 1300 km for a Cheeseburger lol!
Yep the food was worth the drive! HaHa.

O.K., I'm back from West Yellowstone and went out for a spin on Thursday, 26th. Trailered out to Island Park to meet friends there, then headed up to Two Top and played in and around there. The trail was in surprisingly good shape from Island Park to Two Top. As long as it stays below freezing, the trails should hold up. Things around Two Top were set up, maybe 2 to 4 inches of loose snow. Getting into the trees, maybe a foot. I am posting some pictures to give you an idea of what things are currently like. When I was driving into town from the north, the trails there looked pretty thin. I think most places, you have to trailer out now. On BCR/Montana/West Yellowstone, there is a recent post by HICOUNTY, showing what the conditions are like north of town up high. Hope this helped. There is no doubt about it, for an extended season, they definitely need a BIG dump of snow!

How is it now? Most of Colorado, Utah and Wyoming got dumped on recently.

Judging by what I see on the web cams in town and Accuweather's forecast, West Yellowstone did not get any of that snow. They might have had some up high in the hills, but we need someone who has actually been out and pictures would be nice!

Hope everyone has a great time at the Expo this weekend! I wish I could be there, but cannot. The snow continues to shrink with he warm temps.

Rumor with friends is that it's good right now. I haven't been there in a month, so no hands on report for you.

Just got finished 4 days riding in west. Snow and temps are the best I've seen in a few years. Defiantly worth the trip. I can't get pics to upload from here. But I'll post some when home.

Had some friends down there over the New Year. They said the snow was bottomless out at Big Sky and Cabin Creek but lots of hazards when you augered in. Hopefully you get a good base.

Just watching the snotel's across the area shows they have above average snow for sure. Google yellowstone webcams and it gives you a good idea of what's in town.

West only picked up 6-8 inches this week. Cooke City is the better option as of right now, 2+ft in the past couple days.
