West Jet is the greatest? Not so much.

1. They changed their rules so you only get 1 check-in bag at 50lbs and 1 carry-on bag.
2. They changed their rules so you have to pay like $45 to choose an exit seat, even during the check-in process (used to be free).
3. Their pilots suck at landing, apparently were trained on an aircraft carrier because they don't know the concept of flaring.

they aren't what they used to be. I know lot of people complain about AC but I have had great luck travelling with them over the years.

Wtf do you need more than 50lbs of luggage and more than 1 carry on bag for lol?

And I'm not so sure they let crappy pilots land 30 million dollar jets? I duno? Lol

only thing I hate about westjet is the newest planes don't have tvs anymore so they can rent you a tablet for 10 bucks

Big WJ fan...worse they did me was TVs didn't work for a 3hr flight. Had to 'talk' to the wife the WHOLE time!

I have had good luck with Westjet. Also got the emergency exit seat at check in for no cost...

Simple solution, don't fly with them. You have a choice, well limited in Canada, of who you fly with.

I used to like westjet but I am done with them too. Way too many issues with the last few flights. I like US airways the best. At least they have the option of upgrading to first class almost every flight.

Well obviously you did fly with them sun wing ass clowns I love westjet just got home from vegas with them and on the way home the jet was so new it didn't have tv's oh well nice 2 hour nap

I'm happy to see the TV's gone. They were useless. They rarely worked anymore and unless you are flying during the evening there is nothing to watch anyway. The AC entertainment system is so much better. However; these days most folks are just using their own device for watching stuff.

Air Canada not so great either. Last time I had to cancel a flight with 2 weeks notice as my son had a emergency operation they kept my $650 and gave me no future credit for it.

I was landing in Calgary one time in a WJ plane. It hit so hard I thought the gear was going to collapse. The pilot comes on the speaker and starts saying "Welcome to Calgary, should anyone need assistance getting off the plane, and there may be a few of you after that landing"....... It was funny as hell.
