I accidently went swimming with my 850XP and it shut off. I pulled the pulgs and air box, but it doesn't even what to turn over. Any ideas???

Is the gas contaminated???? if not then pull the fuel line off and let it run for about 30 seconds...until theres a large enough pool of gas under the quad to complete a "Clean Burn" ... throw match and walk away

I've never seen a quad not turn over after pulling the plugs and draining the exhaust. If the water it drowned in was really dirty then maybe your Silted off in the cylinders  make sure you drain the crankcase to a normal level before turning it over. Good Luck and let us know how it works out.

P.S. any pictures of the mishap ? :d

Re: Went Swimming with my XP - RESOLVED!

She's runnning.... It was a dead battery. I must have drained it all the way when I winched myself out. Took the plugs out and she turned right over. I will change the oils, though there were no signs that it had any water in it. Cleaned the air filter and sucked whatever could out of the heads. All and all I am completley suprosed that she turned over that easy. I am no pro but let me tell you I had to bring it up to periscope deepth before it got off ...lol Again thats for everyones help. Much appreciated. Happy riding
