Could lose the skid plate and guards and probably some other chit for free.
No point getting carbon fiber until you do that...
Screw that, skid plate is a must and I actually like those doo guards, saved my hands a couple times from a good smack on a tree last year and also on a very cold trail ride up

Exactly Drew. He won’t be riding those log infested cut blocks like last seasons conditions without things getting really expensive after his buildSounds like Matts building a deep snow only sled. lightweight will definitely make it more fun but could be trading strength

I add weight where it makes it stronger (e.g. A-Arm Braces, bumpers) but try to take it off where it does not matter. (e.g. titanium can)we do but we also dont want the sled to be made of glue and tinfoil like the polaris so its a balancing act. If money wasnt a problem would have a stocker and a lightweight mod like these guys are doing
