after loosing a sled I had for 4 yrs, I use this now before buying a sled, I had traded a car for a Indy 488 trail 6 yrs ago in Barrhead. before finishing the deal I took the serial no to registrie office and they said they couldnt do it unless was a 17 digit VIN> so went to Barrhead RCMP> they said couldnt do anything either. so traded. didnt register it till decided to go to the 2010 Poker rally. 2 weeks after the rally RCMP came to the farm and asked to my bill of sale. and the sled, said they will be back in 24 hrs to get it. I said I was removing all parts I put on, COP didnt care.. so when they came,they got a chassis with a hood . the sargeant said I had to take the guy I got it from to Civil court., he still has the car to this day??? got away with it.. that chassis sat behind the RCMP office for 2 yrs, then it dissapeared? wouldnt let me have it back.. so be careful. this new web site should help.
