Great idea for a thread!When ever the weather starts getting bad my satellite for the tv cuts out so I would have no idea whats coming!

Big one just rolled over Red Lodge Provincial Campground, I'm just downstream from there. Luckily it's moving so fast it didn't pound anything to hard.

Just. Checked environment Canada's radar site for carvel. While line of nasty looking storms from red deer to swan hills moving slowly eastward.

Looks like the worst has past Edmonton but the Weather network is showing that it is heading your way Shan, I think it is a hit or miss proposition, Bonnyville and Llyod look like they are next to worry. Hold on to your hats people!

Currently camping on the west side of Elk Island National park. Pretty sketchy here, high wind, LOTS of rain, etc. but I think we are good. Glad we are in the 5er and not a tent!

not sure if we can post previous storms so mods delete if you wish but last Fri a storm hit Armstrong like we have never seen it before. From 33 C on the lake to 5 foot waves in mins. Here is a youtube video someone in Armstrong posted. Never seen such crazy weather before
