Anyone have a calmat system?

We have a shallow well with high minerals and I just put this deal in today. Was tired of messing with the chemical pot softener we had before and going through a jug of clr and vinegar every month. Suppose to work wonders but time will tell I guess.

Had one, works good for most minerals except for iron. We ended up needing a softener for the iron.
