Kanedog 2015-2019, thanks for the good times S&M!
Welcome to the inventive world of Kanedog’s brain!

My 2019 Arctic Cat Alpha with aftermarket pipe needed a fuel controller. I didn’t want to mess with a fuel controller and I wanted instant and perfect amount of water/methanol injection when needed. So I installed a dial-a-jet with remote float bowl and a reservoir.

Pros-no fuel controller
adjustable if needed
Water/meth is non flammable
Water/methanol injection sounds cooler than it actually is
Bragging rights while drinking beer
Cools cylinder temps as opposed to adding fuel
Chicks dig meth

Cons-Keeping the reservoir full.
Have a supply of water/methanol available

It was a ton of tinkering, assemble, disassemble, re-do, lay awake at night thinking, almost tossing the whole system in the trash, finding system parts, protecting lines etc from heat, head scratching etc.

Hope you can enjoy the worlds one and only water/methanol injected Arctic Cat Alpha! Beep beep hOt SauCE!

What did you use for a pressure pump?

The dial-a-jet(DAJ) works on the engines acoustic signal when detonation occurs. The DAJ senses the detonation so to speak, and injects an atomized mixture of air and the water/meth. DAJ can also use gas or alcohol also. I chose water/methanol cuz the Rez is close to hot exhaust components.

The water/meth is gravity fed to a remote float bowl so I didn’t use a pump. Hope that answers the question. Cheers!

Snow makes some good water methanol injection kits. Individual parts available such as in-line pumps, solenoids, pressure switches and check valves. I've installed a few of their kits and have always been happy with the results.

Injecting water methanol into a 2-stroke is risky, the water will displace oil and methanol is extremely "dry" and corrosive. Engine life span will/could be shortened. Water/meth is designed to be injected into the intake stream of a four cycle engine and ends up in the combustion chamber, is compressed-heated the water flashes to steam and the methanol burns slowly. In a four cycle engine the water/meth is only injected when required so it shuts off and the residue "dries" up before the engine is shut off. Also the water/meth is designed to drop the intake air temps to fight detonation. Water/meth doesn't effect AFR unless you are pouring lots in. I have used water/meth on multiple turbo engines. Water is added to the methanol to make it safe to handle and store.

That's asking for trouble, let us know how it turns out after some good use, water injection is a 4stroke mod, moisture introduced into the intake adds up to safe HP, not friendly for 2smokes. Just like Clode mentioned plus don't be surprise to find eventually crack pistons and loose a reed or two.

Personally, instead of dicking around with that, buy your self a NOS system. On demand extra poop when you want it and 100% safe if you know how to use it properly.

my camaro uses -40c windshield washer.

The only problem with washer fluid is the detergents leave deposits and the methanol content varies by manufacturer.

I get methanol from work and mix it 50/50 with water, you just need a buddy in the patch to score you some methanol and mix your own.
