thanks to all, picked up a new side panel for 35 clams from the dealer, my local muffler shop says he can fix the muffler for a reasonable price

huh ok..... the 800r is a different muffler.... but your 07 is a 800ho and not the r so the older 800ho mufflers are the same

hey if ur doo is a summit its a 800r ptek.... the 800ho ptek engines are different... just to let ya know...
