Wanted to buy a Great Pyrenees

Peeps:

Look to buy a great Pyrenees. Anyone know some good breeders that have working lines - not show dogs? or has an adult for sale?

We have been thinking about it for a while for a companion for our Lab, and the coyotes are really starting to get aggressive around our place. Never seem to see one when you have a gun in your hand though! The Lab has been on the losing end a couple of times the last few months - so time to do something.

If anyone has any other recommendations - would love to hear about them. Have three kids that can all handle dogs. Live on 250 acres so space is no problem.

Bogger on this site has a Pyrenees shadow.... Awesome dog, super loyal and a big softy when his masters are around but no one or nothing is getting past the fence when they're not. Such a great dog if I had more room it would one if my top choices

Good choice. We have one that is mixed and loves to run. He is also protective but at the same time awesome with small kids. We got him from a shelter so I cant help you with a breeder.

There is a guy selling them on Alberta outdoorsman forum, But I think they are just pups.

There is a litter of Pyrenees/Bernese Mountain dog cross pups in this area.. My daughter found them the other day. Message Out back girl for more details.

I have a cousin that raises them.They have have sheep and llamas and stuff so they are working dogs.They live close to Barrhead so pm me for her name and number.
