this is a huge endevour. if your ready to not ride for the season then go for it. but since there are no bolt on kits for this sled you will be doing the reasearch and development yourself.

by the time you get it tuned to work you will be able to buy a 2009 xp for the same $ and you will be able to unload and go not tune for two hours before every ride and also that the motor is that old , it can be done but you wont injoy the process or the tuning or being towed out , i would just sell and buy newer

i would guarantee he could buy a brand new 2012 etec 163 x by the time he gets that turbo zx running.

i hate to discourage modificaations. it can and has be done. its just a matter if you want to pour the coin/time and lost riding time into it. if i had a backup sled i would probly take on the same challenge.

I will be the first to admit that I dont know crap about a turbo sled other than they cost a lot to build, and go like stink...

But...I do know a bit about turbos and diesels...Something is wrong with that ad...there is no way all that stuff comes for 400 bones...A good blow-off valve is $700...Intercooler, again way over $400 alone...Seems fishy, be careful

You might aswell buy a rev 800 and go 860 big bore. It will be WAAY more relyable and you can ride longer.
