Want Lower Windshield - Trim or Buy?

What is the best option and what have others done with the taller windshields? Trim them down or just buy the shorter one?

I had the larger windshield on my 08 as I didnt get the spring order x. I just removed the side pieces and cut down the top after I broke it with my face over jumping!

no trim..just cut er down nice and even, sanded the rough edges a bit. Looks just like the x now! :d

Ya just cut it or remove it, you dont need the trim, its just for looks.

I just trimmed my 08 everest window as well and put the trim back on . I got the trim from bumper to bumper i do believe.

you can also just undo the clips and take the windshield off the trim piece. then reinstall the trim piece.

I knew a guy that cut his windshield. It had a crack from a rollover that was only 2 inches long. He just place it upside down on the table scribed a line then cut it. Then it was just a simple matter of putting the trim back on. Looked perfect.
