I was looking on boondockers website and they had there turbo kits on for 5600. They said that it will run 300 horsepower. Seems like a really good deal. But i was wondering if any of you guys have had any experience with this kit either good or bad. I would like a turn key kit . No monkeying around.

I run them and build them.....Nytro's and apex's.... They work like all the other ones. All turbos have to be set up initally, once there set, no monkey business unless your change something.

The BD kits you don't have to change your fuel tank like the front mount kits, so you have the full fuel cap. rather than 7 gallons. some will argue there front mount/ mid mount is more responsive.... never had a problem with leg or lack of response. these are a side mount and the oil res gets deleted from the side and a new oil tank is relocated with the battery in it where the air box once was and then the intercooler above. the turbo is then installed where the factory oil res was.

on the Nytro the turbo is mounted on the backside of the engine infront of the BD fuel tank (included with the kit) that has a cavity.

they are ok kits....but in deep revy powder they completly stall when the nose of sled goes under snow (really sucks) because intake gets buried in snow....so why install this kit when you can't ride in deep powder?? I guess you could put extension on intake might help...looks goofy!! i run alpine never had any issues yet...3000 miles ...rear mount mcx work great to

I have a 2860 on an 07 apex that has been 100% flawless. I did extend the intake on the side for the deep December powder but other than that it's a great sled. I would like to sell it as I bought another turbo so if you are interested in used, send me a note.

I have a boondocker and love it been in nipple deep powder and it works flawlessly. My buddy has an alpine mid mount and if you have to work on it it is alot more time comsuming due to the header bolts. The kit I have they say is capable of 350 + but engine would need work to handle this IMO
