Too bad Maxime Bernier isn't the leader of the conservatives. IMO I think he makes a stronger leader. He came so close to being in that position. Too far right for most people... For Scheer, He's better than nothing. I can only hope that he gets the support of the silent majority to unseat JT.

Agree on all points.

I worry that any vote for Mad Max is a vote for Zoolander as it will only split the Conservative vote.

If we want scumbag out the vote needs to be with Scheer and Mad Max can take a shot next go round. And I would likely vote for him, just not this time.

We need all the Scheer votes we can get.

I'm actually starting to think Bernier is the best candidate. He's the guy who would give the middle finger to the UN. Unfortunately, he just doesn't have enough support yet and will probably accomplish little more than stealing desperately needed votes away from Scheer. Maybe we'll see more of him in four years.

I hoped he would win the nomination. His self appointed leadership is a major obstacle he may never overcome

Out west, we could all vote for Bernier and it still wouldn't matter.

Election is done by the time the polls close in Ontario.

True... Between the east coast, Ontario and Quebec they have 5 times the population of western Canada. With that kind of volume it's difficult to have any kind of voice out west. Scheer has to make inroads not only in Ontario but more importantly in Quebec. Scheer needs to get the support of the conservative nationalists that supported bill 21 in that province. So far both Scheer and JT have been stepping lightly around this subject. Scheer has to do very little, only letting them know that he would sit on it if elected. The tricky part...He has to spin it in a way not to lose votes anywhere else. What makes the Quebec conservative nationalists nervous is they want to keep that bill in place. If the Liberals get back in, and with another four years they'll have the time to go against bill 21 and oppose it. Secretly JT wants to avoid that subject during this election because it goes against the grain of his UN, pro diversity agenda. IMO with the support of the west, and taking liberal seats away in Quebec Scheer has a real chance to having a majority government in this election.

We should bring over some Venezuelan's to give a talk in our schools. Maybe the left leaning teachers might have their eyes opened. The socialist free ride when you get something for nothing....then whined up with nothing.

Agreed... most snowflakes vote Liberal or NDP. They are the entitled generation that migrate towards over the top social programs and free hand outs for everyone.

Exactly! I personally like everything about Bernier except he is another French politician. But there is zero chance he will be our next leader voted in with todays Canada. I'll take a Saskatchewan boy that leans more to the center that has a good chance of winning any day if it means Turd boy gets punted.

I'm in Ontario and personally like to see Turdoh in prison with big fat hairy sweaty guy as his room mate...I don't see that happening though. [nothin personal against big fat hairy sweaty guys]
Even if he did end up in can for all the stupid crap he's done, it would be more of a Hotel than a prison.
I know of a few that voted for him... young, barely old enough to vote, never voted in the past... but Turdoh was going to legalize weed and that's all they needed to hear!
To many sweet pensions for the tax payers...I ain't one of them...my $.02
