Vinson electrical problems

Just replaced battery
In my 2003 Vinson

Starter won’t kick in , digital display goes on and off ,winch won’t work.

Starts instantly with pull start

Digital display goes on and off while it’s running from pull start

Any ideas / suggestions?

If it ran fine before I'd start by rechecking both connections on battery and make sure they're clean and tight.

The winch should be directly connected to the battery and the button is controlled by key on acc right off the key switch itself. If the dash is turns on and off, you either have a battery relay or a bad connection. As mentioned check all your connections, wiring and fuses/relays.

Check the voltage at the battery when running. VR/rectifier is a common problem.
