Great Video! I see two people I know in it :) Snow looks great there! What was the deepest snow you found? Temps? It seems Inn on the border has not updated there snow fall since Dec 28th 2009.... Nice video, was this a club ride, and will you be doing more in that area?

There was a couple inches of recent snow on the ground down low and a good base up higher. Trails on the pipeline were pounded in and whooped out but there are area's with more fresh than others. Tree's have some great fresh to ride in but one still has to watch out for stumps as the area still needs a couple more feet of snow.

This was a Calgary Club ride where 9 of us stuck to the pipeline for the most part with a couple excursions on other trails and some play in the meadows near the cabin. Temp's were mild last weekend (around -5) and I'd say the deepest pockets were 3-4 feet with a foot or so of fresh near the cabin wherever it wasn't tracked up.

Rode back towards the notch and heard some guys climbing the hills but headed back to the cabin as it was socked in with fog and snow when we got near the top making it real hard to see. Great ride and first time to the area, but will definitely be going back there after the next big dump.

See Calgary Snowmobile Club page for future rides that are scheduled.

We did Fernie all weekend. Wranglers to the notch on Friday and it was pounded something awful but we found untouched beautiful snow at the end. Heard lots of machines, saw 3 from where we were sitting on a hill. Sat we were heading to flathead/butts creek area, hooked up with 2 locals and went to I have NO idea instead and the snow was awesome. Some fresh stuff would be great for the whole area..I heard rain was in the forecast :(
