I replaced petals in my vforce 3 cages, and now I am dropping petals out of the cages. It looks like the cages are moving backwards into the boots. The boots that fit between the vforce cage and the carbs are stock ones as the vforce ones I am assuming were cracked.
My question is are the vforce 3 carb boots completely flat on the side that meets the vforce cage or do they have a lip on them like the stock boots? I am figuring that the vforce 3 reed boots are flat and that would hold the cages from moving back out. Any help is appreciated.

Found an answer, not from moto tassinari but from their distributor. The carb boot must be a vforce 3 boot as the lip or bevel on BRP updated boots causes the assembly to tilt back and drop petals. If anyone else is replacing the boots you need vforce, ya cant get away with cheap kimpex or brp boots. Damn.
