OK large noggin'd sledders....where do you find huge helmets? I have been looking for a while and everything is too small. Its not like I can't wear a ball cap and my mom had to knit me toques my whole life and I cant wear a 5 gallon pail sledding. I have tried 5xl CKX too small, 3xl HJC same, 3x 509 gave me a headache. I currently have a hjc with most of the liner out. Any ideas?? What does everyone else do?? Thanks

I have heard the klim helmet comes in very large sizes, a friend of mine found it was the only helmet that would fit his head.

Try first place parts
I would try online but if it doesn't fit it costs $50-$70 to get bit here then ship it back is too much$$ just to try on a helmet. The only big ones at FPP are modular and the FLY size chart only goes to 2xl even tho they offer a 4x

Pro model strait brim helmet is a big fit. I had one and a large was to big where a 509 xxl was to small. But the look is not for everyone.

I have a fairly large noggin and wear a Motorfist L. I was shocked when I tried on the XL and it was too big. Maybe see what they have since the sizes seem to fit big.

In the Klim helmets you can change out the pads on the inside to suit your noggin. Rough country in Revelstoke sized mine up for me when I bought one a few years back. We tried three different pads before we got the right size. A good retailer should be able to size one of those up for you.

Try fitting a helmet with removable cheek pads, you'll find you can wear a smaller size. Then remove the foam from the cheek pad and snap them back in.I did this with a 3X HJC and fits great.
