vent kits for revs

just wondering what vent kits guys have gone with and how durable they were. mostly worried about gettin more heat away from my clutches. thanks.

The one I have from specialty sled was an easy install and seems very durable,Although was overpriced.

I just got one for Xmas...from MOFLOW VENTS...put it on today very good design and easy install,looks sharp too!

ive got xxx.modrods.com vents on mine.... think i paid 140.00 for the hole 5 piece kit...

I did the mountain magic kit on mine for 99 bucks ......... er I mean twenty if my wife asks. Liked the fit and finish the best. Definitely have made a difference for me too. :beer::d:beer:

Got it right on their website...you can get them for different areas of the panel or go with a 5 piece and all kinds of colors too!

Installed a week ago and went riding in the deep stuff this past weekend - they worked awesome.

Whatever vents you decide to run, go with the vents with the hard plastic frame. The aluminum vents can be easily bent if you hit something solid or if your knee hits it. I got mine locally but I'm pretty sure JC's vents are made from the same material. Also get the extra screening on the back to help keep the snow out.

the modrods ones come with frog skin on the clutch side....

i added some nylon to the hood and mag side vents just to keep snow out but let it breath.... i think the water res nylon i used is mabe a bit restrictive but has to vent more than no vents on the mag side panel...

I have JC vents and love them. 2 years of abuse and they seem to hold up great. No problems getting snow through the vents onto the clutches either.
