So the lady friend wants to make a trip down south in October.

According to expedia Vegas would be cheaper for flight + hotel but then again I’m assuming there’d be the added cost of participating in Vegas night life which could make it more $$ then New York?

Ive never been to either, from the experienced travellers on here what would be the better trip?....by better I mostly mean the one that’d hurt my pocket book less lol

I have been to both. Both cities are amazing and have tons of energy. Vegas would be cheaper if you don’t gamble. The shows are close to the same cost but everything else in Vegas I found cheaper. Both are great and have tons to offer

I went to both last year. New York was about 5K for two people 5 days, including airfare (we drove to Maine and flew domestic). Didn’t go to expensive clubs but did lots of touristy stuff.
I got an all expenses paid trip to Vegas to see a hockey game. Spent/lost 1K in 36 hours.
I would think them about even for expense depending on what you want to do.

Both are gonna hurt the pocket.

Some people love Vegas some don’t. But something everyone should experience. Pools are closed in October though.

Is this the only options your interested in? Just throughing it out there but have a look at an all inclusive to Mexico. I’m not sure what your into or what the lady likes but sometimes you can find super cheap deals there, the weather is nice and all your needs are met. This just leaves time to Chile and play with the misses.
new York or Vagas are awesome depending on what your likes are but now a days these places are designed to pull the cash out of your pockets and there are to many temptations to distract you.
at least a Mexican getaway your covered off all inclusive so now all you need to do is control your off site spending.
just a thought

how much time to you have? Flying from Prince George you get allot of extra time just traveling to Vegas, plus if you have never been there, its a must do. New York is great, you might want at least 7 days or more because you loose 2 days in traveling. For my money, I do Vegas.

The repositioning cruise and stays are usually a great deal and a good way to try and do a couple different things

Vegas is great and if you aren’t fussy on dates ? Stay during the week on the strip for couple days .
Then stay out towards Sams town and travel around .
Way cheaper .

we have done both and as far as entertainment they both are really cool in their own ways. Lots of things to do and see. NY has a "style" all of its own. But cost wise, definitely Vegas is cheaper if you keep gambling in check. Either destination will give you great memories (I preferred NY)

Your lady friend will probably want to go check out 5th ave in NYC....just to "look" at a versace purses. then BAM!!! your fawkn broke, but you lady is happy....means lucky lucky for you with out a casino! Have fun where ever you go...I'll be in Vegas in Oct also, for Monster Energy Cup Moto races. As long as the shots don't go down the hatch to quick it can be easy on the wallet if you want it to.

I used to like Vegas. It has changed in the last year or so. You probably should go see it at least once. I am in no rush to go back.
