We are planning to head to Vegas for our 10 year. Any normal, serious suggestions? Never been there and some people on here are pretty twisted.

:)

Thanks in advance !

check out Freemont Street, lots usually going on there and prices for food and drink are a lot more reasonable than on the strip. Blackjack tables seemed kinder there too....

you can learn to pole dance, Hover dam is cool, sh1t there is alot of fun things just go with an open mind. If you can't have fun in Vegas your not alive. Research online you'll find what your looking for. You tube how to play craps, Thats where the action is and you can have more fun there with your money then sitting at a slot machine.

Go on a quad trip. Ride the sand have lunch in the sun... You dont want to look at Vegas in the daylight. Save it for the night time with all the lights. Head north on the i-15 to Mesquiet<- not the correct spelling, and go for a walk.

Shows, shows, shows...and Buffets LOL

Nascar race in March FANTASTIC experience...

I dont know if you gamble or not, we play the penny slots and I play a little blackjack, but we tour and gamble during the day, and see shows at night. We have rented a car almost every time as it is so convenient to get around, and for the price of 2 cab rides you can justify a rental. You can valet park at any hotel, very convenient.

Shows to suit any taste from adult oriented to family friendly. The Cirque shows have been by far our favorites and of course the comedians if you are into comedy. Have also seen some hypnotist shows and they are FUNNY...

The food is to die for, but some of the buffets can be pricey (Spice Market @ Planet Hollywood $27) but the same meal at another hotel can be $6 with a players card.

We love Vegas, go lots, (4 times last year) going again in April, never seem to get tired of it or run out of things to do.

If you are a shopper like my wife, there are some great malls and some great deals there too. Town Centre mall is very unique, almost like a little city, you enter all the stores from the outside.

Where are you staying? If you have players cards already, call direct to the hotel and ask for room deals, we just booked 2 rooms for 4 nights each and rooms were comp'd. Nice holiday when you can fly out of Great Falls for $59 and get free rooms...

Forgot to add the drinking and tattoos LOL
I am a HUGE margarita fan, so Fat Tuesdays and Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville are my 2 favorite drink destinations and Diablos is a close 3rd for margaritas...On the south end. On the north end Kahunaville in TI is a must visit for their 4oz margarita with a 4oz shot and gummy worms LOL

During the day we drink free in the casinos haha...plunk in a few pennies and they bring you free drinks, tip the waitress a buck and she keeps em rollin...

We also get tattoos almost every trip (sort of addicting after the first) Hart & Huntington was my favorite shop but we have now switched to King Ink @ the Mirage

Couple of things.

Freemount street in the old strip is worth a visit. Go after dark so you can see the light show.
Walking the strip is fun but very long .........
The Outlet stores are good for a days shopping.
Rent a car and go to the Hoover Dam thru Bolder (Mork and Mindys home) etc. Take the Dam tour.
A helicoptor ride to the grand canyon will be about 500 bucks but really worth it.
Unless you love gambling (which I doubt you two do) avoid the casinos. Seen one you seen them all really. Remember Vegas was built by losers. (I have contributed my fair share lol)
Theres a ride in the Luxor which was pretty cool for something that you would expect to be lame.
Have fun!!!

Cirque de Soile "Ka" is cool, bunch of little acrobats/ninjas going crazy. Buy your booze on the strip in the corner stores, not in the Casino's. Get your tickets from the booths on the strip and you will save bucks. Me and my missus went a while ago, took in some shows, outlet mall on the north end is good. Don't wander off Freemont street to far, its sketchy as hell. The bus is the best way to travel around, all day pass is 7 bucks or so. If I went back again I would rent a car and tour around during the days, check out the dam and other things out of Vegas. But at night the strip is the place to be. First stop should be the Nike outlet store on the north end, you will need good comfortable shoes.

I swear you could kill several days just looking at the new hotels....take a romantic gondolla ride at the Paris, visit the wax museum. Watch the fountains at the Belogio ( I tried to get a tour of the mechanical room for the fountains, but they thought I was nuts) it's amazing. Visit the tigers in the MGM Grand. The Majic Shop in the New York NewYork, ride the stratosphere sky jump.

Just dont make eye contact with the street people....when you hear the snap look away, and keep walking.
