Vega race is this weekend. Always a good time. first time racers welcome.

A group called NASTE, northern alberta single track enthusists has been doing it for about 6 years. Awesome trails almost all single track maybe 10-20% double track in a race.

The trails are in great shape so it should be a great race. Wish i could go. Are you racing Kenny?

Do you still need your license to race? Or permit or whatever is was I had to fill out to get my number? Or is it open to all?

Vega is about 1.5 hours north west of edmonton

You can get a cmrc day pass at the race so yes its open to anyone. Theres a beginner class for a reason view it as a face pace trail ride And have fun thats all I do someone has to get last haha.

Ok thanks. Racing Saturday for men's so I can't go. But I might have to try it again. The new bike works well and I am getting used to riding again. I was fun when I did it long loong looooooong loooooooooooooooooong time ago lol
