Valemount this past weekend

Just warm temps, fresh snow, and an insane number of riders on friday. We did our best considering the conditions and thanks to everyone for cooperating. It froze friday night and that helped a lot.

Please give the trail staff a break, they are just doing their jobs and some were treated pretty bad on saturday. The trail dollars go a long way, from improvments to maintenance, and the biggest expense this season besides grooming has been the parking area clearing.

Sorry the trail was a bumpy, but we do what we can to make sure its the best it can be with the conditions we have to work with.

I understand, and it really is great that they do groom, and maybe it would even stay in better shape if everyone took a senseable 60-70km speed limit on the trials. It was pretty bad shape though on Friday.

I'm sorry to hear that people where being rude to the staff at the hill.

I just voiced my concern and the lady at the booth in clemina told me she had quite a few complaints and was keeping track. As for the fee, it is really quite reasonable and I like to support the sport, because lets face it with out you guys we wouldn't be riding out there!!

Has there everybeen any thought given to putting a speed limit up, i'm just thinking that if the first 50 up the hill (or down) went a bit more reasonable than the trial would hold up better for the next 50.

I really love it when guys hold it to the bar when passing and they removed the snowflap!!

Anyhow I'm done complaining for the year now and hope to have many more visits to the fine riding areas of Valemount
