Valemount / Mcbride trails

I know this is probably a redundant thread but I'm wondering about trails heading up to or close to the alpine in the McBride or Valemount area. I would love to head out one weekend with the side x side and the family to go exploring. Any info would be great thanks.

There is a road/trail to the summit of Canoe Mountain just south of Vale. great view of the area from up there. Not sure of any other places you can access alpine.

You can go up the renshaw but you will have a few km to walk if u want to get up to the cabin

The old logging roads that follow kinbasket lake after the marina are a nice scenic ride. My family & I camped at the last campground and staged right from there, approximately km 19. We made it to about km 56 before the father in laws can am started to act up and overheat. There was an old trappers cabin to the right of the trail in the bush
