we recieved another 2cm in town last night. It must be looking pretty good in the hills. All in all a good spring, a bit of snow in the evenings, then realitively clear for the day:D

Keepin this fresh !

Valemount will be holding a poker run on March 29th at the lower Westridge Riding area. 10am at the Hydro Station, located at the beginning of the Westridge FSR. All proceeds made will be donated to Winterfest and Children with disabilities. Come on out for a fun easy ride to kick off the spring !

Prizes donated from the community will be given out for Higest and Lowest rider hand, as well as a ghost rider hand.

Rider hands will be 10bucks
Ghost hands will be 5bucks

Highest Rider Hand = Season trail pass to VARDA
Lowest Rider Hand = Caribou Grill Gift Cert

Highest Ghost Hand = Golf Gift Cert from Valemount Pines
Lowest Ghost Hand = Gas Gift Certif from Babos Contracting

This will be a casual ride on the Westridge Family trail (hopefully the snow holds up) Hot dogs and pop lunch. All proceeds go to charity

Hope to see you there !

Went to the back of Allen yesterday. 2ft of powder and only half a dozen sleds, it's going to be a good spring.

This is what we woke up to this morning. A good 4+ inches and the sky is clearing. Who ever gets to ride today will have one of the best days in the year. Anyone got a spare ECU ?

Dont Forget !

We just got bac from riding Vale Fri-Sat-Sun. Milage was super on Fri. All sun and good snow. Sat was in Climena Sun and lots of untouched once we got back in Danger basin and Morning Glory. Never been there before, what an awesoem area. WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE AZZ HAT THAT STOLE ARE JERRY CAN AND TIE DOWNS FROM THE CABIN. HOPE YOU LIKED THE STRAIGHT VP FUEL!!!!
Sun was on Allan and sunny so bad we could just make it to the cabin. Tried playing in the trees but it was pretty tracked up. Couple hours up and backand there was a good 2" on the truck in the lot when we got down.

Lots of cars in the ditch on the way home Mon as it was still snowing till Jasper.

I dont have any of the pics they are all on a buddies camera down in Edmonton.

Hey everyone......

Sad News from Blue River ....

A Guest of Valemount Was Killed up the North Blue Today...

My Sympathy goes out to the Family....

Very sad to hear...sorry for all involved

We have to post the recomendations from the CAA, currently posted as , "moderate". This is a forcast for a very large area with vast terrain differences.

ALWAYS ASSUME THE CONDITIONS ARE HIGH and PLAY SMART

Excellent spring riding to be had, with some fresh in the forcast.

Still grooming from the parking lots at all three locations and it looks like the trails will last a loooong time this year

The poker run was small but everyone who attended had a great time and we made some decent money for charity

Hopefully it will just keep growing in the years to come.

We did recieve some fresh snow last night, but Ive been down with a terrible flu and have not gotten out.

Heading out tomorrow and Ill give a report in the evening

Recieved probably 2" in town last night, it must have amounted to some good snow in the alpine:D

After meeting with our grooming contractor, I can say that all three areas are still being groomed on schedule throughout this weekend and we hope to continue throught to the 19+20 weekend, but we are weather dependant. I will keep updating info as decisions are made.

Little bit of fresh in the evenings and sunshine in the day.

Makes for great spring:D
