VALEMOUNT MARCH REPORT

We had recieved some snow for the weekend and although extrememly windblown, riders could find snow ranging from 1-2' deep in some spots.

I have soem pics of the weekend up at the end of the February Report.

Just got back from riding Feb 29 March 1st and 2nd
Clemina was heavily tracked and busy, also very low visibility on Feb29
Millage and Chappel had 2 to 3 feet fresh but wind blew it around Riding was awesome on March 2nd, ran out of fuel on the way back to staging area, damn tank aint big enough now that im supercharged
Pray for more snow

Valemount will be holding a poker run on March 29th at the lower Westridge Riding area. 10am at the Hydro Station, located at the beginning of the Westridge FSR. All proceeds made will be donated to Winterfest and Children with disabilities. Come on out for a fun easy ride to kick off the spring !

Anyone ride Renshaw last weekend? O-rock and I are planning to start the weekend there on Friday.

I did. I highly recommend riding the Renshaw as there is still alot of snow there. If you travel away from the cabin you can find alot of good snow.

Very spring like conditions in the mountains these days. I will here back tonight if any of yesterdays rain fell as snow in the alpine.

1" reported past avalanche alley in allan yesterday

But its now spring season, the weather is great and you can sure explore lots of territory. The track on the 07 cat sure does like to spin in spring conditions.

We've been having nice riding weather lately with good visibility. Blowing cloud and have been recieving about 1cm of snow overnight in town. Overall still a great time to be had. Trails are holding up well in the warmer afternoons and should last long into spring.

Heres a shot of Superbowl yesterday and a shot of my probe while placed in the trees, as you can see, still lots left to melt.

Our group will be in Vale on Thurs night. You around to ride any days Fri-Sun?
Like to hook up again and see some of what we missed last time out with all the snow and cloud cover.

We got booked in at the Terracana. So I think we are doing 2 days down at Vale and 1 in Renshaw. See how things look when we get there.
I dont think we'll be driving down to Blue though.
