Everyone start snow dancing! Seems like the moisture is out east, and they are going to get dumped on again.

Important notice to all Valemount sledders

Clemina Creek access will have a FULL CLOSURE starting today and running until Monday December 19th. The is the last section of industrial work in the area for the winter season. To date we have been able to travel through the work site at 3km but as of today the work is intense and there is no access for snowmobiles or the public in general.

We are happy to hear that as of Dec 19th the area will be back to the public for recreational use and ask that all of you please respect this temporary closure.
For any information please email info@ridevalemount.com

Despite the stigma we went for a look… rode Chappell. Very low snow access one not great creek crossing. Wouldnt recommend for a group of two as it takes some man power to get a sled across. Icy... rode some fresh snow and didn’t have any major wrecks. Despite that, I wouldn’t recommend heading up unless your feeling awfully anxious and a little care free 🍺

Good news!

Allan and Chappell trails are groomed!

Allan has had the drag but Chappell will be drug tomorrow mid day so please watch for the groomer.

Trail passes are required at these trailheads from now on.

Thank you very much for your patience. The trails are still extremely thin so watch for hazards and understand we are doing what we can with the conditions given. The snow levels are hard on equipment and on the edge of what is possible, but our groomers did it and we cannot be happier.

Stoked to be back! Ride safe.

Rode Allen Creek today.
Trail was good. But it needs more snow. Super bowl got the better of me. So between already hurting and feeling sick and now new pain hurting. Two of us headed back. Hot tub time.

We rode chappel very cautiously. Decent snow but still stumps and rocks. One guy found a massive ( honestly can describe how big the hole was) hole and got pretty wrecked. It’s honestly not worth going right now. We were there to tune the turbo xmperts. We left with a bent spindle/ski/carbide. Not sure what happened but my exhaust pipe broke free from turbo. And buddy who wrecked has Bent bars/steering stem, broke his helmet and maybe ribs and his nose lol. Oh and folded his iPhone. Vale needs more snow!

Fingers crossed but it looks like Santa may be delivering the goods for the holidays. When looking for accommodations, please look at the sponsor listing on ridevalemount.com and support those who give back to your sport.
