Dec 28-Road Clemina today. No new snow since yesterday, it was about 1 - 2 feet. We road in lakeview and there are now many tracks in those areas. If you look around you can still find areas to play. Bauer’s has concederly less snow than the east side.

Curtis we hung the sponsor sign In the Clemina cabin for you.

We met a group yesterday on the trail going into salmon. They were towing a sled out because someone lost a key. Said they were searching for it for two hours. We found the key today on our way up the trail. Ski doo 850. If it was you we met we would love to give you your key back.

Condition update: 3-5 ft+ everywhere you looked. We went back to Heaven and were one of the only groups that made it. Unreal day. Trail tomorrow would be a nightmare for anyone trying to come in. We’ll be going somewhere else.

So no grooming in yet? How was the access

Grooming? The whole 1km to the end of the pipeline? No grooming over the past 10yrs riding this area, don’t think they are about to start. They cut heavily this fall, so turned me around a tad getting in as the landscaping changed to the last cut block.

Normally not a issue to go to venture back in allen but this is the wifes first ride this season so she is a little throttle shy at the moment lol

What’s wrong with the trail?
Icy like Allan was for about 400 ft, very steep. Our 9 sleds chewed it up well. 3 logs laying across the trail unable to climb over, had to venture around through the trees. The two 3" tracks stayed in the back of the group and chewed up the trail pretty well trying to make it up. Took about 2 hours for the 9 of us to make it.

We took the family loop down but its still farely rough going down till the turn.
