They just said on global news there will be an appeal, Vader's lawyer spoke to that effect.

With time served he won't serve long if it's only 10 years

that is basically what their son said too last night..... he's given up the search, but hopes that one day, they will be found.

we just said the exact same comment 5 min ago here in my office. Pretty sad! Now we hear on the news that the judge screwed up using a ruling that was deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court over 20 years ago. This guy is going to walk!

It sounds like they are going to appeal the 2nd degree murder charge with the hopes of getting it knocked down to manslaughter. ...4 years in the can and he'll be free.
