It seems like the prices of the 3 main 2 stroke used sleds has really changed this year in comparison to past years. You could see them start to balance a bit last year but this year it seems like the higher original purchase price paid for the Doo's, isnt generally resulting in a higher resale price. Apples to apples it seems the Pro's are selling basically on par with the Doo, Cat not yet but they working on it .

Fight to the death. I always think of Captain Kirk... blaaahhhhhhh... blahhhhhhh. Anyway, it is kind of sad that the higher purchase price is not reflected in resale prices. People have to either really love Doo or absolutely hate the other 3 to pay that much more. Works out well for those of us that always look for a good deal on used machines.

It's called you get what you pay for. Better product. More $. Pretty simple

I figurd Lenny will like that one

Well it was a serious observation, I was just pointing it out and looking for others viewpoints.
But maxwell I will admit I was hoping for comments from some of the mature adults with open minds, not silly immature brand zealots.

Ya Lennyr...

You are by far the least brand loyal person on here..

From what I have seen, the model X Doo's are selling for about $1000 more with similar add ons and mileage./

You would be surprised how little brand loyalty governs my decisions, I buy what I enjoy riding, don't care what color , and as each of them make changes, yeah sometimes with growing pains, I'll switch if it seems like it'll be more fun or easier.
It was evident in past years that the Doo's sold for a bit more, as they should have with a higher purchase price, but with the introduction of the XM, still a bandaid in my mind, it did 2 things. It allowed people who didn't want to wrestle that friggen XP chassis around to enjoy the great motor they have and still enjoy the fun factor of carving and sidehilling and overall less effort it took to ride the M sleds and the Polaris mountain sleds, and good for Doo, it worked, they sold a ton of them. 12 and 13 M's seem to have their issues, Pro's have also, but both seem to be getting their poop in a group. The 13 Pro is hands down by a mile the most fun easy sled to ride I've ever sat on, and it has nothing to do with the fact that it's a Polaris, it's just built specific to its intended use, lighter and narrower, withou a bunch of goofy knuckles and pivot points and bendy side tracks. It definetly has its issues you bet, but what an awesome mountain sled, needs better cooling for any amount of trail riding tho.
I don't agree that youre gonna see much difference in resale prices, motivation of the seller being the wild card.

It allowed people like me who don't possess enough dynamic skills in how to ride the XP chassis around to enjoy the great motor they have and still enjoy the fun factor of carving and sidehilling and overall less effort it took to ride the M sleds and the Polaris mountain sleds, and good for Doo, it worked, they sold a ton of them. 12 and 13 M's seem to have their issues, but I'll never say anything bad, because it's not doo.. Pro's have also, but both seem to be getting their poop in a group. The 13 Pro is hands down by a mile the most fun easy sled to ride because Chris Burandt's infomercials told me so, and it has nothing to do with the fact that it's a Polaris, it's just because it's not a doo, lighter and narrower, without a bunch of goofy knuckles and pivot points and bendy side tracks, and I'm jealous that Polaris didn't think of it first, because then it would be ok in my books. It definetly has its issues you bet, but what an awesome mountain sled, needs better cooling for any amount of trail riding tho.

Once the snow flies, you will see mid 12's
I found one for 12,500. Looks pretty damn clean. Trying to decided if Im better off waiting a month or so and find one with a can and accessories or buy this one stock and sink money into it. lol

I see 2012 cat and polaris selling for $10,000 and doos about $1000-1500 more. Which is fair being it was about that much more to snow check a doo over the other two new.
