On second thought, I could take a picture of it,show you, and if you decide that you want it, I might be able to put it in my quad trailer and deliver it right to the cabin this weekend if someone is going to be up there to help me unload it.

This is just a suggestion.
The jet boat club has a big shack along the river and spent good $ on good webers.
Two big buggers and they have been very good for bigger functions .
I would try to purchase smaller BQ but good quality as the bigger ones take a lot more propane to get heated up. ( as everyone knows)
The boat club after first little bit put the big ones away and only use when needed. ( locked up in shed)
Have a small one set up for any stopper buys as it is always a problem with propane and folks not shutting valve off .
Always the same few that bring full and take back empty bottles.
Imagine the same for you folks. Lol

BBQ's at the Fernie cabin are a low cost maintenance item. We buy them in the fall from CT when they go on sale and seldom doo we get two years out of them. They take a lot of abuse and are used pretty much daily. CT has even donated a couple for our cabins.

Thanks for all of the info guys.

Sorry HotShotHarry, I just saw your post. I would be interested in seeing photos although I believe we are looking at a new unit, but at this point are considering all options.

Maxwell, we don't have anything specific in mind but yes I would imagine just a semi-cheapy as I would also assume that it would be looked at as a wear item.

Heading up to the site tomorrow and will bring back some photos. The lower floor beams are assembled and the walls/trusses are getting delivered.

I will keep you all updated!

Thanks again for the continued support. Paypal donations are slowly coming in and we cant thank all of you enough.

Hey Folks

The cabin is coming along nicely!

Its going to have one amazing view off of the deck for sure. Walls should be going up today!

Please note that we are still accepting donations towards this project. All donors will be recognized on plaques inside of the cabin broken down into Treeline (under 1000) and Alpine (1000 and over). Donations can be made via paypal (info@ridevalemount.com) or simply by mailing a cheque to the office. This is a great way to have you or your businesses name become part of this cabins legacy and we need all the help we can get.

One of our members sent in this photo of the progress. It's coming along nicely. I hope to be on site tomorrow and will bring back some more photos.

Thank you to all of you who continue to donate towards this project. Every little bit helps and is greatly appreciated!
