on HWY 831 N just south of the town of waskatenau and ( TWNSHP 585a) the is a bridge crossing the N Saskatchewan river. Look down off the bridge there are trails on the N side heading south or West , trails are on the river side and look pretty nice, anyone have info on them like staging or where the origin or lead to?

That trail leads nowhere. It goes for a couple of hundred feet and ends with a loop. You can stage at Waskatenau and follow the Iron Horse Trail (old railway line) east for many many miles. There is currently no charge for the use of the trail.

And don't use the link in the next post.....he is showing a map trail system in southern Ontario.

From what I can tell, that is the Victoria trail and it sticks close to the North Saskatewan River and sounds like it's quite scenic. However, check out this website. ...looks like they want us to pay to ride (which I have no problem with).

That link is for a trail system in Ontario.

That land is privately owned so you'd need owner permission to ride those trails anyway.
