underhood and side panel foam

Does all the foam under the hood and in the side panels need to be there? Anyone stripped it all out?

yes i removed mine and just added heat tape where it was needed!

if its an 08 leave the left side foam in or snow will pack in there.
pulled mine out and then had to buy new one to replace it

no need for it. it is just there to help cut noise and vibration. All it does is hold in moisture. i ripped all mine out and replaced it with heat tape.
